Pearson's Candy Company has been producing quality confections since 1909, and prides itself on quality, tradition and customer satisfaction. The company was founded in 1909 by P. Edward Pearson with the assistance of his two brothers John Albert and Oscar F. Pearson. A few years later, two more brothers Waldemar and C. Fritz joined the Minneapolis-based company, which began as a candy distribution firm, doing a little bit of manufacturing on the side. The Nut Goodie Bar, one of the company's first manufactured products, made its debut in 1912. Pearson's Salted Nut Roll was introduced in 1933. In 1985, two Pearson employees purchased Pearson's Candy Company. Their sole intention was to give the brand the attention it deserved, and return the Nut Goodie and other Pearson products to the quality that had made them famous.
Located in St. Paul, Minn., Kowalski's Central Bakery is a part of Kowalski's Markets and offers a wide range of baked goods. Its products include organic breads, rolls, buns, European-style baguettes, sourdough boules, pastries, fruit tarts, tortes and various other seasonal temptation products. The bakery also partners with various other local bakeries, such as Douville Bakery, French Meadow Breads and New French Bakery to provide their specialty products. It has an online store that offers a wide range of products, including deli items, cakes, gift cards, fruit baskets, salads, seafood and sandwiches. Kowalski's Markets has various other departments, including dairy, floral, frozen foods, grocery, meat, produce, seafood and gifts. Additionally, it provides online recipes for various food items.
