The company markets its products under the Captain John Derst s brand and has more than 20 distribution depots in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. The company is run by descendants of the founder and has approximately 300 employees and sales of approximately $25 million per year. The bakery s products include Capt. John Derst s Good Old Fashioned Bread, premium raison bread, butter top wheat bread, premium white bread, lite white and wheat bread, Texas Toast, 100% wheat bread, a variety of buns and rolls, donuts, cinnamon sticks, apple fritters and honey buns.
