Founded and headquartered in Durham, NC, Counter Culture Coffee also operates regional training centers in Asheville, NC; Atlanta; Boston; Charleston, SC; Chicago; Emeryville, CA; Los Angeles; New York; Philadelphia; and Washington, DC. Our headquarters and training centers do not function as retail locations, but we open our doors every Friday morning for public coffee cuppings--educational coffee tastings suitable for all experience levels. Through our Counter Intelligence coffee education program, we also offer a series of cutting-edge training and education courses throughout the year. Note: we do not offer local pick up.

Fine dining with Southern American flair never tasted this good! Dinner is offered seven nights a week, as well as brunch on Sunday. Sunday brunch at Acme is a Carrboro institution. Absolutely not to be missed. There's enough sausage gravy, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, mimosas, biscuits, donuts, bloody Marys, fried chicken, quiche, and bacon to fortify you for the coming week. We promise. And be on the lookout for our special Wine Dinners! About once a month or so, Chef Kevin Callaghan likes to get together with his winemaker and wine merchant friends and throw a little dinner party. Always a great "insider" occasion to meet the people behind the scenes and taste very cool vino, these dinners also provide a unique dining experience and the opportunity to purchase discounted cases of featured wines.
