Goodfellas Security provides unarmed venue and event security for restaurants, bars, breweries, and private events across the Boston area — built around a simple idea: security should feel like part of good hospitality, not a separate, tense layer on top of it. Our guards are trained to de-escalate first. That means reading a room and defusing a situation before it becomes one, rather than posturing or escalating. We'd rather your guests never notice our team was managing something than have them feel like they walked into a lockdown. Every shift includes a CPR-certified guard on-site, and our team carries Narcan and is trained to administer it in the event of a suspected overdose. We handle ID checks and access control, crowd management during peak hours, guest and staff escorts, and incident documentation — so you always know what happened and when. Wherever possible, you get the same crew shift to shift, not a rotating cast of unfamiliar faces. Your staff and regulars get to know the people working your door, and you always know who's on-site and how to reach them. We're not the generic "bouncer" company. We're built for venues that care about the guest experience as much as they care about safety. Reach out to talk about coverage for your restaurant, bar, or next private event.
