Opened in 2004, Sweet Cakes Cafe is a small, family-run business that caters to your sweet tooth as well as to your hunger pangs during lunch. Soups, salads and sandwiches are on the daytime menu, where the Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich and Broccoli Cheese Soup make for a great combo. The baked goods menu always has a nice mix of cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, etc., but the real highlight is the 5 Layer Brownie. This decadent dessert was featured on cable television's TLC network and the homemade brownie comes with cream cheese filling, chocolate chips, marshmallows and fudge!
