In Mesa, Gelato Dolce Vita is the closest place you can try authentic gelati outside of Italy. The Italian owners studied the art of making this typical Italian dessert in Bologna and somehow left that wonderful place for the staid confines of Mesa. Thankfully, they brought their know-how with them; here they create gelato made with all-natural ingredients and never use preservatives or chemical additives. In addition to delicious gelato, the shop also functions as a mini-grocery and deli. On the menu, you'll find panini, salads and antipasti as well as plenty of products from the 'Boot'.
