Known for its amazingly brewed coffee, the cafe is a neighborhood hot- spot. It has fancy decors and does have loads of people buzzing around throughout the day, so you need to be patient to get your meals, but it is surely worth waiting for.

Isaac's Cafe has been open since 1977, serving the Longshoreman and Wilmington community with the original recipe that came from her mother and grandmother from Chihuahua, Mexico to LA Harbor. The Famous Chile Verde and Chile Rojo was born! Antonia Medina was born February 12th, 1927, grew up in Tijuana and Zacatecas, first arriving in San Pedro, CA, and then finally settling in Wilmington, CA, then in 1977, established the business and named it after her husband Isaac. "Isaac's Cafe" was born. She dedicated her life to help feed all the longshoremen at the Port of Los Angeles and slowly built a forever lasting bond with the neighborhood and members of the community. Still open at the original location, and hopefully for the year to come to service the next generation and keep the traditions alive!
