The Good Eating Company

At The Good Eating Company (TGEC) San jose, sustainability and community are at the heart of everything we do. Our café is proudly local—everything on our menu is made in-house from scratch, using thoughtfully sourced, local ingredients. We’re passionate about minimizing our environmental footprint and maximizing flavor, which is why we carefully select all retail goods from responsible sources. As supporters of our community, we also donate to local charities like Chefs End Hunger, helping those in need with every purchase. Enjoy delicious, feel-good eats and help us make a positive impact, one meal at a time.

Niloufer brings the food of Hyderabad to San Jose. Our dum biryani is slow-cooked the traditional way: layered rice and meat sealed in a handi with dough so it steams in its own aromas. Our cafe side is built around Hyderabad's chai culture, with Irani chai and Osmania biscuits served the way they are in the city's old cafes. Beyond biryani, the menu covers kebabs from the grill, Hyderabadi mains, desserts, and chai and coolers. Come for a full meal, or just stop in for a cup of chai and a biscuit. Our hope is simple: one sip and you're back in Hyderabad. Opening soon. Follow @niloufer_kitchen_and_cafe to hear the date first.
