Fair trade, organic coffees and teas are offered as well as daily soup, salad and sandwich selections. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP We recently purchased this business and gave it a great facelift and attitude adjustment. You can enjoy a warm atmosphere next to our fireplace or outside on our private patio on a nice sunny day. We play all sorts of music, from jazz to acoustic, Grateful Dead to Dave Matthews. You can enjoy all sorts of live entertainment, including our Bluegrass Jam (every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month - 7:00 PM) as well as Open Mic Nights (every other Friday evening - 7:00 PM) and Sunday Jam Sessions (quite acoustic music during breakfast). Lucas Confectionery may not be a typical 'sweet-shop' despite its name, however with the remarkable amount of wines, local produce and craft beers to select from, it definitely tries to please all taste buds. The eatery inside specializes in cheese and Charcuterie, while the bar is stocked with beers and wines from across the globe. The 'Grocery' features fresh vegetables, fruit and other produce from local purveyors in addition to many other sustainable, organic items. Don't forget to look into their 'Sunday Suppers' held on the first and third Sunday of every month; dinner is privately presented for a group of twelve and a reservation is required.
