La Parisienne

La Parisienne is a French café and wine bar located on Maiden Lane in the heart of Lower Manhattan, just steps from the World Trade Center. Inspired by the timeless charm of Parisian cafés and the energy of New York City, we welcome locals, business professionals, and visitors from around the world. Founded by Julie and Adrian Bruyère, a French couple with years of experience in New York’s hospitality scene, La Parisienne was created to bring thoughtful food, warm service, and the art of the table to the Financial District. We serve pastries baked daily, classic brunch favorites, quality coffee, and a carefully curated selection of French and European wines. In the afternoon and early evening, the café transforms into a relaxed wine bar with a great happy hour, perfect for after-work drinks or casual gatherings. Upstairs, LP Upstairs offers a spacious New York–style loft event space for corporate meetings, private celebrations, and creative events. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, brunch, coffee, happy hour, or a private event, La Parisienne offers a welcoming space where Parisian hospitality meets Lower Manhattan.

While the food is exquisite and refined, the cafe itself is a relaxed and inviting place to eat. The menu offers an eclectic combination of French, European and Sengalese dishes that weave together a dining experience that is anything but ordinary. Start your meal with a serving of Sengalese spring rolls, or opt for a plate of Fataya if you favor spice. Follow this with one of their signature spiced, ground rib-eye burgers, or dibi-style grilled lamb chops with onion confit, sweet potatoes and a side of rice. Try traditional drinks like the sweet and spicy cafe touba or the refreshing Sengalese Ataya to wash down your meal. Mixing and matching cuisines at Rue Dix is par course, however if you crave consistency you may enjoy the prix fixe Sengalese dinner offered on Wednesday nights.
