Czech-Mex Bakery and Cafe has been a staple in downtown Corpus Christi since it opened in 1994. Located in American Bank Plaza, we specialize in breakfast and brunch menus featuring soups, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. (That's cookies and pies, you know.) We work really hard to bring you good quality, healthy food sourced locally. We use Texas ingredients and hire hard-working Texas employees. And we love what we do. We must, because we start baking at 3:00 am.

The colorful eclectic decor often lures visitors inside while the aroma of fresh coffee and pancakes makes them stay. There are three locations of this local favorite; one at the art museum with stunning views of the bay, one at Lamar Park and this one in the Six Points neighborhood. In addition to baked goods, Hester's also serves a superb Sunday brunch as well as sandwiches and sundry desserts on their lunch menu.
