Situated on the east of the 1000-acres (404.6 hectares) Golden Gate Park, Flywheel Coffee Roasters is known for their variety of freshly-roasted coffees. This family-run roaster is managed by the barista, Aquiles Guerrero. Set in Haight-Ashbury district, this Rustic-style roastery features a small seating area for its guests. They serve a fantastic selection of delicious coffees. In addition to coffees, they serve fruit juices and baked goodies like croissants and cakes.
A venture by Trish Rothgeb and Nick Cho, Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters a Pacific Heights fix for green coffee choices. A speck of white on Union Street, the little cafe offers a great range of teas and coffees that are acquired in sustainable and ethical ways. The coffeehouse serves aromatic, refreshing and totally awesome brews that will have you coming back for more. To nosh along with these amazing cuppas, they have a small selection of accompaniments such as cookies, muffins, scones and such as well. The prices are comparable to the quality offered and the service is good too, definitely worth a stop by.

Beanery
The Beanery Coffee Inc. was founded by an entrepreneurially minded immigrant couple who wanted to share their love of coffee and tea with the inner sunset district. The two operated the business out of the 602 Irving street location and quickly realized that the best way to make high quality coffee was to source and roast it themselves. They expanded the operation, mastering the craft of roasting the highest quality coffee in vintage San Franciscan coffee roasters, and have been at it since. The company’s large capacity roastery is located in Richmond, CA, though the first roaster they bought in 1994 — the little roaster that could — can still be found on display in the 9th Avenue storefront.
