Since opening in 1993, the Tate Street Coffee House has helped locals begin their mornings with an expertly brewed cup of coffee. In additional to their coffees, which are all organic and fair trade, Tate Street Coffee House also offers lattes, espresso, ciders and even hot chocolate. The shop also hosts monthly art shows, as well as live jazz three nights a week. Lunch is also served, with the menu featuring sandwiches to go along with beers and wine.

Carolina Coffee Roasting Company (CCRC) specializes in the wholesale and retail distribution of coffee, coffee equipment, and cafe supplies. We have been roasting only the highest quality Arabica coffee since 1992, making us one of the oldest specialty coffee roasters in North Carolina. Despite being primarily wholesale coffee roasters, we do have a storefront, which we invite you to visit! You might catch us roasting, and at the very least we'll make you a fresh coffee using the beans of your choice! This is also the best place to pick up your favorite restaurant blend or single-origin coffee.
