This Philadelphia-based coffee company has three locations in Manhattan: one in Tribeca, one in SoHo (at 270 Lafayette St), as well as one in NoHo. La Colombe values simplicity; so much so that they don't even have a menu. The top priority here is coffee, and nothing else. There's no Wi-Fi, no merchandise, and no lunch foods. Luckily, the coffee delivers on all fronts, and is a favorite among New Yorkers for its rich flavor and low price.
Our story began in 2003 at the corner of Waverly and Gay with a simple vision: brew high quality, delicious coffee and serve it with warm hospitality. That first café in Greenwich Village grew into more than 20 locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, along with our own roastery in Long Island City. Today, Joe Coffee remains focused on quality coffee and welcoming spaces while also supporting partners through wholesale coffee programs, tech services, and custom catering. From neighborhood cafés to offices and events, we are proud to be New York's hometown specialty coffee company.
La Colombe needs no introduction, this hip coffee shop chain has opened 14 locations. They are known for their Philly-based coffee roasting and also serve a small selection of food. The ambiance of this location is warm with wooden flooring, comfortable seats and lights hanging from the ceiling giving the place an ideal coffee shop vibe. The place doesn't have WiFi which makes its really interesting to interact and meet new people, instead of being occupied with smart phones and laptops.
A bright, gallery-esque counter for everyday coffee, seasonal lattes, and specialty hand-brewed pour overs. Come for coffee and lunch, but stay to work or study in the spacious seating area.
