sewBoise offers sewing and design classes for those who have never touched a needle, to consummate couturiers. We offer group classes, private lessons, weekend workshops and open labs. No matter your age, experience level or area of interest, we have education for everyone. It's the perfect time to learn a new skill, brush up on what you've already learned or expand your creativity and skill set beyond current boundaries. We also offer expert alterations and tailoring for the garments you've already got! Don't worry, it's the TEACHERS who do the alterations, not the students. Tackling everything from pants hems and patches to total bridal gown overhauls, we'll help you with the most flattering fit and lasting use for all your clothes. Need something made that's just not out there? We do beautiful custom sewing, too! Our designers and sewists can work from a photograph, an idea (we do sketches), an existing garment (without disassembling it), or a commercial sewing pattern. Wedding gowns, fishing vests, RV curtains, red carpet formals, menswear, skirts, doggy raincoats, box cushions, party dresses, tailored jackets, etc. You name it, we'll make it.
