Neuro State of Mind executes a multimethod four-pillar approach to increasing neurogenesis for patients and clients through Neuro Performance and specificity fitness training. Shawnee Harkins specializes in customized programs and training for individuals affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, stroke, anoxic brain injury, amongst other neurodegerative diseases. Harkins' work contributed to unifying the healthcare and fitness industry launching her support solution and programs at Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation Institute in Frisco, TX. She continues to work with Baylor Scott and White Health contributing to their TBI and stroke research studies programs. Neuro State of Mind provides restorative programs at hospitals, non-profits, and private boutique sports and fitness centers throughout New York, Texas, and California. In addition, Shawnee Harkins continues to work in the professional sports arena as a Sports and Neuro Performance Coach in developing peak performance programs for athletes post-TBI and concussion. She works directly with professional leagues and athletes such as the NFL, CFL, NBA, MLS, USBoxing, USRowing, PGA, and LPGA. Neuro State of Mind serves the Neuro community by shortening recovery and rehabilitation, while improving quality of life, personal independence, physical fitness, and social freedom. Texas Boot Camp was designed for men and women desiring the tough workouts and great physical results of a true boot camp, without the commitment of enlisting. Meeting 3 days per week, our one-hour session is just what you need to get your rear in gear. These power hour sessions meet three times a week and are sure to give you more stamina, strength, and cardiovascular endurance.
