Sherry was born in Iowa and moved to Colorado in 1995. She worked at a furniture store in Ft. Collins in 1997-98. While working there, a customer actually told her to go talk to her boss at People on the Go. Of course, she assumed it was a travel agency. She was informed it was a weight loss clinic. As it turned out, she had put on a few pounds after moving here due to the fact she quit smoking. She have since told everyone she would never apply for a job at a weight clinic since she had no experience. She also told that to the furniture shopper. Again, she insisted that Sherry go talk to her boss. After a brief meeting and interview, she began training at People on the Go in the Ft. Collins clinic in November of 1998. Within a short time, Sherry was made administrator. Loving what she was doing, she was elated when they asked her if she would run their new clinic in Loveland. Sherry bought a house in Loveland as opened a new People on the Go in 1999. A whole year with the company and many success stories was like a dream come true. The real dream came true in 2004 when Sherry bought the company. Her desire to make everyone's weight loss journey come true and still continues today. The past five years Sherry has run the clinic out of her home due to the economy, but March 1st, 2017, she will be in her new location. Sherry also works with bariatric and lap band patients by providing them with their protein needs.
