Frank Smith Residential Design

As a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America, Frank Smith Residential Design Inc has become know in the community for designing romantic homes that have a timeless authentic sense of beauty with a seductive influence. This is because he is an artist and perfectionist with an incredible sense of proportion and appropriateness. His artistic gift is further complimented by his precision and attention to detail as a structural engineer licensed in NC, SC and GA. Also, a licensed general contractor. It's rare to find a talent that has such a broad ability, passion and soul of an artist with the accurate precision of an engineer. His goal is to create timeless places that define and inspires who we are, what we want to be and how we celebrate life, "with breath and simplicity of composition that has an incredible calming effect on the soul that creates pause and wonder."Frank's architectural study is predicated on the authentic structures of the past where he see firsthand their enchantment, how their inherent beauty harmonizes with the landscape and gardens, where he can touch the textures and experience what is a lasting beauty, instead of the latest decorating magazines. He travels every year researching for upcoming projects. Last year he was in France for a week studying the Regency Style for 3 projects, and in the English countryside for a week, in the Cotswold's, studying the English House for a 5-project cottage style development.
