I express my creativity by creating one of a kind works that are functional and beautiful. The only limit is your and my own imagination. I have been called a "Pinterest Husband". I take a vision for a one of a kind bookshelf or coffee table and find soulful sometimes forgotten materials to create unique pieces that are built to last a lifetime. There is really no project too big or too small from a thirty foot raw wood conference table to a elegant five by seven hardwood picture frame we do it all. For a one of a kind that you are guaranteed to not find anywhere you have come to the right place. Let's start on your project today. Kristopher D. Turner Chief Handyman / Owner @Build STL
We can tackle any kind of construction project. Anything from a kitchen/bath updated to full house restoration/remodel. Nothing is too big or too small. We excel and pride ourselves on craftsmanship. We value quality over quantity and very detail minded.
I'm a finish carpenter based in South St. Louis, specializing in high-quality interior trim and custom millwork. As a one-man shop, you get me on every job, not a crew you've never met, from the first site visit all the way to the final nail set. My main focus is crown molding, wainscoting including shadow box and picture frame styles, chair rail, baseboard, interior and entry doors, and detailed casing work. I also handle stair and rail installations, custom mantels, and cabinet installation. I take pride in tight joints, straight lines, and finishes that look like they actually belong in the house. I work frequently in historic St. Louis homes where matching original profiles and preserving period details matters. I hold an EPA RRP certification for work in homes built before 1978, which means lead paint is handled properly and documented, not ignored. If you're looking for clean, precise finish carpentry in St. Louis without the headache of a big crew tracking dust through your house, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to give you a realistic estimate and walk through your project in person.
