This in turn stimulates the release of the natural lanolin inherent to the wool fiber. What a lot of rug cleaners do not understand is that Virgin Wool is a living fiber, and is naturally antibacterial, and as such the homeostasis of the fiber must be protected throughout the entire cleaning process.
