Supplying Carpet Cleaning Products for Over 40 Years Our Company Buddy Smith, president of Carpet Cleaning Supply of Indiana, started cleaning carpets in 1973 as a one-scrubber operation. At that time, carpet-cleaning equipment was far from the best. Truck mounts didn't hit the marketplace until the middle or late '70s. In fact, Buddy bought the second truck mount in the Indianapolis area! The dealer Buddy bought the truck mount from was in Minnesota. There was no service center in Buddy's area and no distribution outlet. He taught himself how to keep his truck mount running. After truck mounts had started becoming popular, owners came to Buddy for help repairing them since he was a seasoned veteran. In 1983, Buddy opened his distributorship simply because there was no one in the area. He figured that since they had the building and the staff, they might as well go into distribution. Carpet Cleaning Supply of Indiana was born out of Buddy's partnership with Mel Mathis. When Mel retired, Jeff Hendricks and Jeff Coleman bought Mel's share of the business. Both Jeffs have over 25 years in the industry and hold multiple certifications. Jim has been with Carpet Cleaning Supply of Indiana for more than 25 years. He worked as a technician in the field for 16 years and now uses that experience to educate customers and help them select the proper cleaning agents for their individual needs. Everything the cleaning professionals have to do, Jim has also done. He understands what they need. Lolita, who manages the office, has been with the company for 16 years. Bobby, our shop mechanic, has been here for 13 years. He has repaired, installed and serviced a wide range of truck-mounted and portable carpet cleaning equipment. Do you see a pattern here Once people start working with Carpet Cleaning Supply of Indiana, they stay. This continuity adds to the service experience you will receive. We look forward to helping you in the future!
