We are licensed, bonded, and insured. Be very careful of doing business with a contractor in South Carolina whose only sign of their existence is a cell phone number! Our company is accountable to the states where we are licensed and the IRS. We don’t perform “under the table” work and we report all of our income to the Department of Revenue and the IRS. We know the building codes. Our licensed electricians stay up to date on all state requirements by taking mandatory CE (continuing education). We are legally authorized to perform repairs and installation that exceed $500. If a handyman performs any services in your home that exceed $500, including materials, they are required to be licensed with the state. This is for your protection! We do not pay our electricians to search for additional and more complicated electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs. Many contracting services implement a compensation program for their employees that incentivizes them to discover issues that were unknown to the homeowner, whether they actually exist or not. If we find any major concerns that will extend beyond a service call, we will provide a list of companies in the area that can provide for you both a second opinion on the issue and an estimate for completing the work.
