I started this business over 25 years ago as an effort to offer a unique option to the consumer. While installing for other companies for many years, I learned that most clients were bound to their service provider by long term contracts and the installation of proprietary equipment. I viewed these strong-arm tactics as unacceptable. The customer should have the freedom to choose the service provider based on the provision of good service. Additionally, customers may have personal or financial situations that may force a cancellation of monitoring service. For these reasons, we do not hold contracts or install proprietary equipment at Looker Alarm. We do require a signature on a "contract" that releases us from liability and states that the customer agrees to have their system monitored by our monitoring service. It can be cancelled at any time, at the customer's request. Looker Alarm Co. offers a personal touch that is difficult to find in today's service industry. Customers can call my office or reach me directly on my cell phone. Like myself, most people prefer to interact with the same person over a long period of time.
