Seattle Tree Consulting provides objective assessments of trees and of the city codes that protect them. Founded in 2016 by Douglas Smith, an ISA Certified Arborist with more than 20 years of experience in Seattle, we prepare tree risk assessments, arborist reports for permits, and tree guidance for construction and development. Our opinions rest on accurate data, tree biology, and long local experience, and we state them clearly and honestly, even when the stakes are high. We work with homeowners, neighbors, builders, and cities across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties, and we know the tree regulations throughout the Puget Sound region. We also plant well-sited, healthy trees meant to be part of the community for decades.
