PlantAmnesty is a 20-year-old, 1200-member, non-profit organization to promote better pruning and plant care. I am a certified arborist (PN-8909A) offering tree pruning, preservation, and removal services. Informed by the latest science and equipped with years of experience at height, I specialize in mature shade tree pruning and preservation, and technical removals of dead and hazardous trees in tight spaces, utilizing rigging and roping systems. I am also tree risk assessment qualified (TRAQ) and an avid student of tree structure, allowing me to identify and mitigate risks to you and your property and perform work in the safest manner possible. The aim of this small business is to offer personalized, practical, and positive solutions that work for trees and people. I will work with you to come up with a plan for your trees that addresses your objectives while promoting the health and longevity of your plants, and working within your budget! Many tree services show up with a small army of inexperienced workers and heavy machinery; unlike other tree services, I will both meet with you and myself perform all work at height, ensuring every cut is precisely targeted. Most tree services remove tree debris from the site, an unsustainable practice that robs the rhizosphere (tree root zone) of vital nutrients and other benefits. Instead when possible I leave wood mulch on site, retaining the trees vitality for many years to come and leaving your property better than when I arrived. I also offer cabling, bracing, root pruning, advice, and other ecosystem services.
