Established 1977. We are a companion and exotic animal practice. Dr. Bangle graduated from U.G.A. College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and Dr. Stortz graduated in 2004. Our clinic offers complete medical, surgical, dental, and wellness care. We also see some exotics. Dr. Bangle is the only clinician in the Athens area who is performing Canine Physical Rehabilitation ( Canine version of physical therapy). This is for older, arthritic, injured, weakened dogs. We can make a difference. Our staff is well trained and we will be sure to explain all the medical aspects of your visit. We offer professional grooming and boarding ( large indoor/outdoor runs) for your pets. You may purchase extra play time, yappy hour, or swim time!

Now offering mobile in home grooming and willing to travel up to 60 miles out of the Monroe, GA area. Services include: Cat/Dog Bathing and Mini Groom Services. All grooming services are done after a bath which consists of anal gland expression, teeth brushing/fresh breath spray, and conditioner, and dog cologne (unless told/asked otherwise.) Dog services: Full Grooms which consist of Full body cut, face cut/trim up, face, feet, and fanny (sanitary) trim, plucking/cleaning ears and clipping/dremmeling nails. Mini Grooms which consists of face, feet, and fanny (sanitary) trim, plucking/cleaning ears and clipping/dremmeling nails. Services for cats: Bathing (as described above) and a nail trim. Prices on cats are higher due to safety reasons, as they can be harder/more dangerous than dogs. All dogs and cats are welcome!

Lazy S Ranch & Kennels officially opened its doors to the boarding and grooming of dogs in December of 2004. Despite being a relatively new facility, both the kennel owners Sue & Phil Ingram and the co-manager Lauren Hirtz have a lifetime of experience in regards to owning, training, and raising dogs. The Ingrams and Ms. Hirtz also share close to 20 years experience owning and occasionally breeding purebred AKC Siberian Huskies under the name Napeequa Siberians. We are no longer raising Siberians at the present time however, having chosen to concentrate our efforts on the dog kennel business instead.
