Pet grooming in New Orleans, LA

I started Bigmouth Grooming in 2023 in New Orleans, LA with the belief that all pets deserve to be treated with patience, an individualized approach, and care. My motto is "humanity over vanity". I pay attention to “consent signals” and adjust my way of working with each pet to make them as comfortable as possible, even at the expense of appearance if necessary. I try to help your pet understand that the grooming process is neither traumatizing nor painful. WIth a reward-based mentality, over time, I will develop a critical sense of trust between myself and your pet. Bigmouth Grooming is a trans-owned, LGBTQIA2S+ led business that believes a diverse, equitable, and inclusive approach leads to greater innovation and success. I embrace diversity of background, perspective, culture, and experience.

At Buku Bark, every dog receives personalized, one-on-one care in a calm, low-stress environment. With over 10 years of professional grooming experience, I focus on quality over quantity to ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. I specialize in breed-specific cuts, doodles, puppies, deshedding treatments, and customized grooming tailored to each dog’s coat and lifestyle. What makes Buku Bark different is the attention to detail and the relationship I build with both pets and their owners. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, comfort level, and grooming needs to create a positive experience — especially for nervous pets or first-time puppies. Cleanliness, patience, consistency, and communication are top priorities here. My goal is not only to make dogs look amazing, but to help them feel their best too.
