Our mission is to make life easier for the busy urban dog owner. We've designed our facility, our hours and our pricing to suit the needs of people who love their dogs but don't always have adequate time to tend to all their needs. We can help with things like puppy training or late pick-ups after a client dinner or airport arrival. We've got 5 playrooms catering to all sizes and temperaments, from Big Kids to Tiny Tots; a puppy play area up front for the little ones younger than 4 months. webcams and a phone app; AC/heat in all rooms. We're located in the North Loop of downtown Minneapolis with free parking and easy freeway access. About Boarding: We are known for maintaining a safe, low stress environment. As such, we provide boarding services only to dogs that regularly come to daycare because they are already acclimated to our environment. About Grooming: We offer several grooming services (bath, nails, ears, teeth, etc.) but NOT haircuts.

Over a decade of experience owning and taking care of dogs of every size and age. Experience in training, grooming, and overnight dog sitting/daily daycare. Solo owner with one dog of my own. I work out of my apartment downtown. We are in central downtown with multiple parks and dog parks around for daily exercise! Flexible on pricing and last minute needs.

Downtown Dogs knows dogs better than anyone! Biggest Play Rooms We have the largest playrooms of any daycare, giving your pup the most room to run and get worn out. Open Plan Design We are the only daycare in town that is confident enough in the dogs' experience and the play space to let you see (and hear and smell) everything from the reception area as you walk in. There is no wondering what is going on behind closed doors. Seeing the playroom through a window or camera does not let you see and hear and smell up close. Convenience Our location is the ultimate of convenience and our hours and flexibility cannot be beat. This makes it easy for you to give your dog the very best care. Knowledgeable, Caring Staff The staff caring for your dog is highly trained with over 50 years of combined experience in providing exceptional canine care. This nurturing, energetic staff will really connect with your pet! We take care of each dog as if they were our own. This is more than just a job to us!
