Welcome to Hot Diggity Dog Resort, Escondido’s trusted destination for dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and enrichment-based care. We don’t just supervise dogs, we engage them. Our indoor, climate-controlled facility is designed for comfort, safety, and calm. Daycare is structured, with thoughtful groupings and intentional activities that support confidence, balance, and emotional well-being. Through our Life Enrichment Education Program L.E.E.P., dogs are encouraged to think, problem-solve, and move with purpose, not just run until exhausted. We also offer professional grooming and bathing services, along with boarding accommodations tailored to each dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog is here for the day, an extended stay, or a spa visit, they’re treated as an individual, never a number. Experienced staff, intentional care, and a genuine love for dogs make Hot Diggity Dog Resort a place where dogs feel safe, fulfilled, and happy.
PetSmart
Baths, full grooms, and haircuts keep our Escondido salon off W Valley Pkwy busy, and academy-trained Pet Stylists meet each one with over 800 hours of hands-on experience, from routine nail grinds to de-shedding treatments for the most matted coats, with walk-ins welcome between full appointments. When the food bin at home starts running low, the same bag is on our shelves, ready before you even ask. Cats and kittens wait in our PetSmart Charities adoption center for the family that is coming for them. Online orders are ready for curbside pickup, so you can stay in the car. Should travel come up, PetsHotel provides overnight boarding near W Washington Ave with safety-certified Pet Hosts, and Doggie Day Camp turns a day apart into supervised play led by safety-certified Day Camp Counselors. Our Accredited Trainers teach puppy and adult dog training classes rooted in positive reinforcement, pairing group classes with private options and special savings packages. The more often your pet visits, the better we know them, and it shows in every groom, every class, and every stay.
