I'm Lacey, and I've been caring for my pets and others for 15 years! I love spending time with all animals, enjoying their quirks and unique personalities! Through interning at the Oakland Zoo and a wildlife rehabilitation center and working at a dog boarding facility, I gained experience with basic training and reinforcement for puppies, working with elderly cats and dogs who are slow-moving or require medication, and pets who have suffered abuse and need a little extra patience and kindness. I also have owned and worked with snakes and fish and have cared for all types of rodents (I just don't do spiders)! I’m a big proponent of doing what’s best for each individual I’m caring for. Not every dog likes to go on fast-paced walks, nor will every cat be happy with constant affection. Through talking to you and taking the time to get to know your pet, I’ll find what’s best for everybody to make sure your baby or babies get the most out of my visits!

At Happy Paws, we believe in personalized care that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of each pet. Whether it's a walk in the park, a cozy cuddle session, or just a friendly face to check in on them, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of every furry friend.
Paws and Claws has extensive knowledge on how to keep your pets safe and happy, time-tested since 2013! Our priority is building long term relationships with our clients, with a personal touch. This starts with a phone call where you are matched to your ideal sitter or walker. While you may find a great pet sitter through Wag or Rover, it’s often a gamble because there is no real way for these companies to regulate pet sitters, and how pets are cared for. With Paws and Claws, there won’t be any gambling or guesswork in finding a great sitter. Paws and Claws does all the work to ensure your cat sitter or dog walker is amazing, and that we’ll have all the details we need.
