I started Ruff Routez because I truly love working with dogs—especially the ones who need a little extra patience, guidance, and structure. Whether your pup needs a structured walk, a quick drop-in visit, help building better manners through e-collar training, or occasional in-home pet sitting while you're away, I'm here to help! With 10+ years of hands-on experience working at a dog boarding and daycare facility, alongside rescue animals, I've had the opportunity to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, energy levels, and temperaments. From playful puppies to senior dogs, and from easygoing companions to those needing extra behavioral support, I've developed the skills and patience to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, I'd love to meet you! We specialize in dog boarding and daycare. All of our daycare and boarding guests play in social play groups. We have eight play parks and we create play groups based on a dog's size, temperament, and age. (Small dogs are never put with large dogs.) All of our daycare and boarding guests receive plenty of exercise and enrichment in our play groups and country setting. We offer spa services in conjunction with a daycare or boarding appointment. All of our spa baths include a nail trim, ear cleaning, shampoo, rinse, and conditioner. We also offer brush-outs and de-shedding.
I specialize in hour long off-leash group hikes. I also do private walks and runs with your dog. $17/walk, 2nd dog from the same house is half price. I walk 7 days a week in Petaluma and Novato. Petsitting services are available too. Check out my website for more information.
