PetSmart
West Ave holds a PetSmart where Stamford dogs can train, board, and get groomed in one trip. Food, litter, treats and toys, the ordinary basics, are part of the same stop at our store. Curbside pickup is here for online orders when your hands are full. Cats and kittens up for adoption are here with us through PetSmart Charities, hoping to go home with someone. Training classes led by our Accredited Trainers stay rooted in positive reinforcement, with group classes near Selleck St for practicing cues around other dogs, private classes at a solo pace, and savings packages when combining courses. If a trip takes you away, Doggie Day Camp offers supervised play under safety-certified Day Camp Counselors, and PetsHotel provides overnight boarding off Grenhart Rd, Standard Guest Rooms for dogs and Kitty Cottages for cats. The grooming salon finishes the picture, where academy-trained Pet Stylists apply over 800 hours of hands-on experience to baths, full grooms, and haircuts, with specially formulated shampoos and conditioners for skin and coat and a de-shedding treatment for flying fur. From the puppy in class to the cat in for a trim, every pet in a Stamford household has a place.
