At the moment my boyfriend and I can't afford an apartment that allows dogs, so I have definitely been pining for some canine contact. We moved here a couple of years ago from Washington State and I had to leave behind my golden retriever, Bonnie, who was diagnosed with cancer two months after we moved. She lasted a year and a half but eventually the disease did take her. Mom called me on Skype and I got to say my goodbyes. My stepdad has two chihuahuas, Rufus and Quervo, both adorable, but not as adorable as my Bonnie =).
