The Model Farm is a fun and busy place for all sized dogs to stay while their humans are away! This property used to be a zoo but we changed those large habitats to be dog friendly. We are a small kennel so your furry friends get lots of attention and activities. And then there are the chickens, ducks, llamas and turkeys to watch and bark at too. We have several kennels with chain length tops and cemented bottoms to keep the dogs who like to escape inside. Each dog yard is connected to an individual indoor shelter so they can be outside whenever they want. The smaller dogs have a park like yard to play in and they all sleep inside the house each night. For inclement weather, we all play in the dog room. Because the kennels are big, dogs who need long term boarding, such as their human's medical care, a long vacation, or a house fire, are often here. We offer a monthly rate too.
I am a Vet Tech and have been working with animals for many years. I believe this is an asset as a pet sitter as we know that an illness or accident can happen at any time and I am familiar with signs and symptoms in both domestic and exotic animals. I will come into your home and keep daily routines for your beloved pets to minimize stress. If you work long hours, I do daily walks and have play time with your animal. If your pet needs a ride to the Vet or groomer, I can accommodate you.
