Doggywalkie provides personalized pet sitting, house sitting, dog walking and drop-in pet visits in Hayden Island, North Portland and surrounding Portland neighborhoods, including Kenton, St. Johns, Arbor Lodge, Overlook, the Pearl District and NW Portland. Extended service areas may be available throughout the Portland metro and Vancouver. I specialize in dogs who need a little more understanding—anxious, leash-reactive, fearful and rescue dogs, as well as senior and medically sensitive pets. Doggywalkie is intentionally different from traditional pet care companies. I'm a solo caregiver, so your pet gets the same familiar person every visit and every stay. This allows me to learn their individual body language, routines, triggers, preferences and subtle changes over time. My approach is relationship-based, positive-reinforcement focused and centered on trust, patience and emotional safety. Care is individualized to the animal rather than forcing every pet into the same routine. I have experience caring for pets with anxiety, reactivity, seizures, diabetes, mobility challenges, dementia, incontinence, medication needs and other age-related or medical conditions. Services include in-home pet sitting, house sitting, private dog walks, dog visits, cat sitting and specialized pet care. One trusted caregiver. Every visit. Every stay. Serving Portland pet parents who need experienced, individualized care for anxious, reactive, senior, rescue and special-needs pets.
In Home pet care offering daily visits, mid day dog walks, and overnights.
