Shayna specializes in warm, authentic, & natural lifestyle newborn and family photography. For newborn sessions, I will come directly to your home, or you are welcome to come to my "Tiny Studio" for groups of 3 or less. For family sessions, I love to find beautiful locations in the great outdoors or even come to your home for a cozy, candid approach. I researched many different photography types, studied under a variety of photographers, and I allowed myself to open my heart to different styles and see how they fit with what I yearned for. I found what was missing were real, genuine connections, expressions, and micro-moments between individuals that we don't often think of, but things we miss when that person is gone. In essence, I was missing the love between individuals. When you book your family with me, I try to get to know you. I will ask questions, find out what is most important to you, observe your interactions with one another, and I will do my best to get to the heart of who you are as a family. If you are willing to share and willing to be yourselves, I am completely on board with creating the kind of art that speaks to your soul, as well.
