Children are amazing. They are unapologetically themselves. And I love that! I try my best to get a kid to smile and listen to directions, but I know not to push them too far. There are a few tricks that I have learned in the last decade either from taking photos or working in early education about getting kids to cooperate. So if you think your kiddo might be a little challenging in front of the camera, give me a chance. I bet I can get them to warm up. I tend to move pretty quickly through my sessions. This is especially helpful when working with toddlers and other busy-bodied little ones. There’s no need to spend 20 minutes in one spot if we already captured some great memories. In addition to family portrait sessions, I also offer in-home newborn sessions and Personal Branding sessions.
