I focus on capturing the newborn "sleepy baby" poses, and capture amazing infant smiles to create once in a lifetime memories. I know how hard it is to choose a photographer to capture the first special portraits of your little ones, so it is important to know who you are working with. I am a proud mother of three, and a new grandmother, who has always had a passion for working with infants and children. I have a master's degree in childhood education and am a retired elementary school teacher. I have had a love of photography all of my life, and once I started taking photos of family and friends, I realized how much I enjoy capturing these special moments for others. And so that is how Lisa Marie Photography came to be. My in-home studio is based in Linden Hills, Minneapolis. This setting allows for comfortable and relaxed sessions. The studio has abundant natural light, beautiful hard wood floors and a variety of props, outfits, colors and backgrounds to choose from. The space is fully temperature controlled to keep even the newest infants warm and there is a private space for feedings and when breaks are needed. My goal is to capture the uniqueness of each baby and create personalized sessions that capture precious memories that will last a lifetime.
