I love getting to know the kids and capturing their personalities with my camera. Each session is unique and creative, and my job becomes making sure everybody enjoys themselves. I approach the sessions as art projects where we are all collaborating with each other. From that space comes amazing and intimate pictures. What I've come to like most in my sessions is that they're like little journeys where I get to be part of this beautiful bonding experience each family has. New York diverse sights and neighborhoods are my studio, and natural gorgeous light is my light. I use exciting locations from graffiti walls in Williamsburg or the East Village, to beautiful stone streets in the Meat Packing district, to the industrial feel of Red Hook, and of course amazing green spaces like Central Park. Is fun to work with the families to select the best setting that fit their style. Is a highlight for the family and myself to get together every year and document how their kids are growing.
