Our style is honest and human with an appreciation of minimalism and finished with the look of film. When we arrive at the places where our couples are getting ready, we first ease in with hellos and take a few moments to soak in what's happening in the room before pulling out our cameras. We want to connect with people and the environment first, then shoot. We're not there to make it all look perfect. We shoot with the intention of capturing how the day felt, not manipulating what naturally unfolds. We genuinely want to get to know every couple that hires us for their wedding because showing up on one of the biggest days of their lives together and not really knowing them just doesn't work for us. Because of this, we include a complimentary portrait session to all of them. Our approach to this gifted shoot is relaxed and personal. We typically start in their home, photographing them in their apartment and then venturing out into their neighborhood where they dwell on the daily. We're not into dragging them from landmark to landmark all over NYC. This is about them, their lives together, getting to know them, and vice versa.
Family photography capturing the essence of fleeting moments. I photograph mothers and families who want to hold onto the real stuff: the kitchen dance party, the quiet cuddles, the 9am Saturday park run.
