See Spot Pose (TM) creates dramatic photography portraits of companion animals (and their owners), in a signature style that is truly inspiring, engaging, and one-of-a-kind. See Spot Pose provides custom pet portrait services to the general public (both in studio and on location), as well as commercial pet photography for businesses and publications. In addition, See Spot Pose provides an original line of pet photography products, including calendars, greeting cards, books, and other items. Many of these original products are photographed using adoptable animals from local shelters and rescue organizations, with an intent to gain exposure and secure homes for the animals. A portion of all profits is donated to organizations and activities devoted to animal welfare, rescue, and adoption.
20 years of professional experience shooting portraits- personalities, families, kids, animals, lifestyle, and action. My visual style is fun, light, and cheerful with an artistically trained eye for lighting and composition. I shoot with studio strobes, outdoor and natural light, or with a combination of both to provide the best look for every situation. I have a natural ability to help a subject feel relaxed and comfortable being in front of the camera. I always strive to capture the true person, rather than staging a posed and generic portrait.
