I became interested in photography by trying to capture the beauty of our daily life routines, details that could otherwise be taken for granted. Now as a freelance photographer, when working with a client I like to capture the joy of the moment and my client's personality. I will deliver not just high-resolution files, I will do my best to help you preserve a special moment with photos that can later be shared with your friends and family.

Kim Richardson is a highly skilled photographer and lighting specialist. Her background includes photographing art and antiquities for Sotheby's and Phillips auction houses; extensive product styling for luxury brands, catalogues and book projects. She has consistently delivered high-quality imagery that captures the essence of elegance and sophistication. She brings brands to life through visually compelling narratives with artistic excellence. In addition to photographing, she also is a fine art printer. She works with master printer, Steve Zeifman, with Rush Creek Editions. For nearly a decade she photographed art and antiquities for Sotheby’s and Phillips auction houses in New York City. When Kim moved to Santa Fe in 2007, she expanded her practice to include photographing artists work for archiving, print and media campaigns, as well as guiding artists to making fine art giclees and archival prints. She also photographs architecture, lifestyle and portraits for corporate and individual clients. Kim’s imagery captures products in a vibrant and engaging way.
