Ruthie Gaffner Photography is a lifestyle photography business focused on capturing honest, meaningful moments as they naturally unfold. Specializing in in-home newborn sessions, families, motherhood, and intimate seasons of life, Ruthie’s work is centered on connection. With a relaxed, documentary-inspired approach, each session is designed to feel comfortable and unforced. There’s guidance when needed, but plenty of room for real interactions, in-between candid moments , and the natural rhythm of your life to shine through. The goal is to create images that feel like you, mostly unposed, timeless, and full of feeling. At the heart of her work is a deep value for storytelling and the beauty of everyday life. Photography, to Ruthie, is about preserving not just how things looked, but how they felt, the small, fleeting moments that often get missed but when one reminisces on life it's the feelings from those in between moments that make it feel nostalgic and like home. Her passion is creating a space where people feel seen and at ease, so their story can be documented with honesty and care.

Newborn, Maternity & Family Photography
I specialize in people with their pets. For many years I have worked with shelter animals and rescues. Animals trust me and working together I am able to get family pictures with "everyone" included. I believe that a photo session needs to be fun, relaxed...often the best pictures come from an out take where everyone is able to just be themselves.
