Hey y’all! I am so happy you made it to KB photography. I am Krista Bannister, and I am a Texas State grad, Journalism Teacher, and Yearbook Adviser in Katy ISD. My husband and I live in Katy, TX with our goldendoodle, Jasper. As a kid, my mom was always taking pictures of me and some of my favorite memories are getting my team pictures taken when I was a cheerleader. There was always something so fun about portraits and photography was always a big part of my life. Six years ago as a new yearbook and photojournalism teacher, I had to learn how to use a professional camera out of necessity. It was the scariest thing about my new role, but God knew what he was doing and knew that I would completely fall in love with being on the other side of the camera. I fell in love with storytelling and creating art with people while documenting important life milestones. I love making people feel beautiful and confident about themselves and seeing the joy in their eyes when we make something great together.
