Dupont Veterinary Clinic is located in the beautiful Dupont Circle neighborhood in the heart of Washington, D.C. and has been providing compassionate and quality veterinary care in the city since 1982. Our five veterinarians have over 65 years of combined experience and specialize exclusively in the care of dogs and cats. All of our veterinarians have emergency hospital experience and two of our veterinarians, including our medical director, have extensive shelter medicine backgrounds. Each year our veterinary team attends over 150 hours of continuing education. This provides your animals with the most current and highest standards of preventative care, surgery, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, and x-rays. A registered veterinary technician leads our nursing team that possesses over 50 years of combined experience. We also offer top notch grooming by a certified Professional Groomer who has won the Grand Prize in several grooming competitions. Established in 2002, we are a full-service, small animal veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We serve several neighborhoods, including Capitol Hill, H Street Corridor, Atlas District, the Navy Yard, and NOMA. Our staff veterinarians are Dr. Allison Gross, Dr. Melissa Lehmann, Dr. Carey Cornett, Dr. Giuditta Mortola, and Dr. Romina Cohen. Our clinic includes an in-house pharmacy and laboratory, state-of the-art surgery suite, digital x-ray unit and a closely supervised hospitalization area. When special procedures or diagnostics are required, we work closely with local referral practices and reference laboratories. It is our mission to provide your pet with top quality medical care, from routine wellness to illnesses or injuries. We are open seven days a week to meet your pet's needs. Important Note about Parking: The parking lot behind our building is private and for the neighboring businesses and residences. If nearby street parking is not available, there is a pay-to-park parking garage at Station House two blocks down 2nd St. Please let us watch over your pet while you park if you have a heavy pet carrier or dog with limited mobility.
