Palliative Medicine, which includes palliative care & hospice care, is care that focuses on prioritizing comfort and Quality of Life. In many illnesses, a cure is not possible, but we still want to manage symptoms, such as pain, nausea, and anxiety. We know that facing care for serious illness in our beloved pets is incredibly difficult, but that there is so much we can do to help make things better in terms of comfort care. Palliative Medicine (Palliative Care & Hospice Care): We work to support human families and their beloved pets with gentle and compassionate palliative & hospice care to help improve comfort and Quality of Life. Some of the conditions we often treat are pain management, loss of mobility, organ failure, cancer, and cognitive dysfunction syndrome. End of Life Care: For current patients, but also new patients, we offer the most caring and compassionate end of life services, including in-home euthanasia and hospice-assisted death (also called palliated natural health).
