We are the oldest operating animal hospital in Dallas, TX. Located near downtown, out veterinarians have been caring for pets in East Dallas and Lakewood communities since we first opened our doors in 1924. We understand your pet is part of your family. Regardless if they have fur, feathers or scales we treat your family as our own. Trust us to treat your pets emotional and physical needs because at Rutherford we put family first. We are truly your family veterinarian, generation after generation.
So many pet parents are frustrated with the rising cost of veterinary medicine. The cost of even basic services such as wellness exams, vaccines, dental cleanings, and routine surgeries are getting too expensive. As a result, a growing number of pets receive less than optimum care, some developing more serious and costly health issues later on. We are a full-service, high quality, low-cost veterinary hospital that makes it easy for pet parents to take the best care of their pets. Pets receive the excellent veterinary care they deserve, at a truly affordable price.
