I offer thorough inspections with the best reports in the business. Unlike most inspectors, I have experience in technical writing and an award from the Society for Technical Communication. Many inspectors use confusing language because they think it sounds "official," or simply because it comes with their software. I stick to plain English, as my goal is for you to understand the implications of any defects. I take time to answer your questions and listen to your concerns. In consulting , I help homeowners get remodeling or repair projects done properly and without the headaches that so often result from hiring incompetent contractors, poor planning, inadequate design, and trouble with building departments. When possible, I start before work begins. The service can be a one-time appointment or ongoing review, depending on your needs.
