Traffic Survival School (TSS) is an eight hour, one day course that is required by the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) for certain violations that include: Anyone who runs a red light in the state of Arizona. Anyone who is under the age of eighteen in the state of Arizona. Anyone who has accumulated eight (8) to twelve (12) points on their driving record will be mandated to take Traffic Survival School.
Our State Certified, licensed Instructors use tried and true teaching methods to help our students, both teens and adults, build safe driving skills. We use environmental awareness to help make these skills become good driving habits. Our goal is to make Valley roadways safer, one driver at a time.

We keep our class sizes small and intimate for personalized training to get to know our students to meet their unique needs. CFT Trucking Academy School primary focus consists of three key components: 1. Classroom Learning (Theory) – Prep for Permit, Basic Theory Understanding the components and basic functionality of commercial motor vehicle 2. Range Training -Inspection & Maneuvering learning how to operate a commercial motor vehicle under various traffic / road / & weather conditions. We will cover all major aspects including but not limited to: 7 Step Brake Test Pre-Trip Inspection In-Cab Inspection Straight Backing Offset Left & Right Parallels Left & Right Alley Dock 3. Over-the-Road Safety (OTR) Training The driving portion of the training you will implement the above learned skills on what to do from the moment you arrive at your commercial motor vehicle . This includes pre-trip inspections, backing up, city driving, vehicle control, speed and space management, and dealing with driving conditions.
