American Freedom Driving School is more than a traditional driving school. We specialize in helping new drivers, nervous and anxious drivers, and individuals with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges. Our patient and caring instructors understand that every student learns differently. We provide personalized behind-the-wheel instruction designed to build confidence, safe driving habits, and greater independence at each student’s own pace. Our fleet includes vehicles equipped with adaptive driving equipment, including hand controls, for individuals with physical impairments who may require specialized driver training. We also work in collaboration with healthcare professionals, occupational therapists, and hospital-based rehabilitation driving programs to support individuals who are learning to drive with adaptive equipment or returning to driving after an injury, medical condition, or change in physical abilities. We specialize in teaching based solely on each students needs and DMV requirements. We work hard to understand each student with frequent evaluations and focus on each students weaknesses. We strive to improve safety with defensive driving and driver awareness. We only pick up one student at a time and create a stress free teaching method. It has been developed from listening to our customers and providing a safe and kind perspective. I have also learned from my experiences as a CHP certified bus driver and my home life with my Wife and 3 kids.
